This is the main page to the website maintained by the U.S. Department of Commerce for U.S. companies in planning their international sales strategies. It serves as a portal to the resources from across the U.S. Government.

Export Programs Guide

A Business Guide to Federal Export Assistance.  For over a decade, this Guide has served as comprehensive guide to federal programs that assist U.S. exporters. It contains detailed descriptions of more than 100 programs offered by 19 different federal agencies.

Trade Information Center

The Trade Information Center (TIC) has integrated all of its  information to help the U.S. Exporter, more easily navigate through the information.  Available information includes:  Tariff and Fee Information, Free Trade Agreements, Country Information, and more.

Trade Compliance Center

The Trade Compliance Center (the "TCC"), is the U.S. Department of Commerce's focal point for monitoring foreign compliance with trade agreements to see that U.S. firms get the maximum benefits from these agreements. The TCC is the access point to U.S. government assistance in resolving the trade barriers or unfair situations may be encountered in foreign markets.

Data and Analysis

Links to federal agencies that provide data and analysis such as trade and economic data, research and analysis that examines issues affecting U.S. manufacturing and services competitiveness in domestic and global markets, and research and analysis on international and domestic trade and investment issues to support trade promotion and trade policy.

TradeStats Express

TradeStats Express™ provides the latest annual and quarterly trade data from the US. Department of Commerce and allows the user to retrieve, visualize, analyze, print, and download customized output.

UN Comtrade

The United Nations Commodity Trade Statistics Database contains detailed imports and exports statistics reported by statistical authorities of close to 200 countries or areas. The database is continuously updated with data recorded from 1962 to the present. UN Comtrade is considered the most comprehensive trade database available.

World Trade Organization

The WTO provides serveral resources for global trade statistics. Among those available:  selected statistics on trade in merchandise and services at the world and regional levels, developments in major product categories and historical developments in international trade at the aggregate level.

Trade Finance Guide

A quick reference for U.S. exporters has been written to help U.S. companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs),  learn the fundamentals of trade.

Protect Your Intellectual Property

This booklet provides basic information on how to obtain and enforce intellectual property rights both domestically and abroad.

The World Trade Magazine provides a monthly bulletin with features and news briefs about pending commerce and trade issues around the world.

California Council

The California Council for International Trade provides a weekly newsletter with commentary, news, and resources. This is an excellent source for businesses looking to get current on international trade issues.

The Georgia Department of Economic Development Global Commerce Division provides resources for the international business needs of Georgia businesses.
